Sports Massage
Is a form of massage involving the manipulation of soft tissue to benefit a person engaged in regular physical activity. Soft tissue is connective tissue that has not hardened into bone and cartilage; it includes skin, muscles, tendons, ligaments and fascia (a form of connective tissue that surrounds the other soft tissues). Sports massage is designed to assist in correcting problems and imbalances in soft tissue that are caused from repetitive and strenuous physical activity and trauma. The application of sports massage, prior to and after exercise, may enhance performance, aid recovery and prevent injury.
Sports Nutrition
If you’re looking to improve athletic performance in weightlifting, bodybuilding and endurance sports (e.g. cycling, running, swimming, rowing). A sports nutritional plan is essential. It focuses on the type, as well as the quantity of fluids and food taken by an athlete. In addition, it deals with the consumption of nutrients such as vitamins, minerals, supplements and organic substances that include carbohydrates, proteins and fats.

Pregnancy massage is perfectly safe and should be soothing and any deep tissue work avoided. In the first trimester the abdomen is avoided. Your therapist will know how to put you in a safe comfortable position, offering additional support where needed.
By the second trimester, the massage should be done with the woman on her side to keep pressure off the large vein that supplies deoxygenated blood to the heart.
